News - Artelys to distribute Dash's Xpress-MP in French-speaking Europe

Today, 27th November 2000, Dash is delighted to announce an agreement with Artelys to distribute Dash's Xpress-MP software in France, French-speaking Belgium, Luxembourg and French-speaking Switzerland.

Xpress-MP is used by leading companies such as Air France, AspenTech, BASF, Bouygues, Electricité de France, Ford, France Telecom, PowerGen, Procter & Gamble, Renault, Shell and Unilever to model and solve planning problems arising in Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Distribution, Production and Scheduling, Financial and Investment Management, Telecommunication Network Design, and Yield Management.

Artelys, based in Issy-les-Moulineaux near Paris, is a young company specializing in high performance optimization. Artelys is headed by Arnaud Renaud, former scientific advisor in optimization at Electricité de France and Associate Professor at Sorbonne University. At Electricité de France he acquired more than 10 years of experience in the application of state-of-the-art optimization technology to electricity production management in regulated and deregulated markets. He is the author of numerous publications in leading journals in the area of optimization and its application to power systems.

Artelys will not only distribute and support Dash's Xpress-MP product range but also provide services to help their customers draw the best out of optimization technology within their organization.
