News - Dash Optimization Japan Opening Party

On June 29th Dash
Optimization Co., Ltd. held a seminar and party to celebrate
the opening of the Japan Office of Dash Optimization. The
seminar was held at the International Forum in Tokyo.
Staff from the UK and Japan office were
in attendance and there were several presentations.

Hiroshi Kurono (President)
talked about how Dash entered the Japanese market, the current situation
and plans for the future. Alan Dormer
(from Dash UK) made a presentation about Dash's global strategy,
current developments and new products. Joseph
Kallrath from BASF, who had flown in especially from Europe,
explained how BASF have used Dash software for many years for a
variety of planning applications and how they are now using Xpress-CP
for integrated planning and scheduling.

More than 60 customers and partners attended
and there were delegates from Fujitsu, Shell, Mitsubishi and
Yokogawa. After the presentations a party was held to celebrate
the opening of Dash's subsidiary in Japan and to thank customers,
partners and contacts for their continuing support.
We would like to thank Prof. Dr. Kallrath
for his excellent presentation and all the Dash staff that
helped make this a memorable occasion.
