News - Xpress-Mosel to be featured at September NJ INFORMS Meeting
At the upcoming NJ INFORMS Meeting on September 28, 2006, Dash Optimization Xpress-Mosel will be featured in the keynote presentation, “Optimization Applications with Xpress-Mosel” by Hernan Wurgaft, Ph.D., Department of Global Business and Transportation, SUNY Maritime College.
Five years ago Dash Optimization introduced Xpress-Mosel - a modeling and a programming language for optimization-centered applications. Benefiting from a modular architecture design, Mosel has subsequently been extended to represent specialized modeling and algorithmic requirements. The talk will present an overview of Mosel's capabilities discussing basic features and recent module extensions for parallel processing and user interfaces. A number of examples illustrating possibilities for commercial applications and research will be included.
